DTN Exchange mobile overview
The DTN Exchange mobile website keeps you updated while you’re on the go, giving you the ability to place prompt orders and/or bids on fuel wherever you are.
Logging in to the DTN Exchange mobile website
When you receive the email with your login credentials, you receive 2 links. One link is your desktop version and the other link is your mobile version.
The DTN Exchange mobile website can be accessed on most smart phones and tablets.
To go to the DTN Exchange Mobile website, enter one of the following on your mobile browser address bar:

The supplier’s specific private DTN Exchange URL
Log in to DTN Exchange mobile by using your desktop username and password. You can save your password by selecting the Save Login window.
Adding DTN Exchange Mobile to the home screen
The DTN Exchange mobile can be added to your home screen on your device for easy access. This way, you won’t have to enter the URL each time.
iOS 7 – Safari

Open Safari on your iOS device

Tap the Share icon (
).

Select Add to Home Screen.

Name the shortcut, DTN Exchange.

Tap Add. An icon appears on the home screen.
Android 4.4 – Chrome

Open Chrome on your Android device.
-
Press the menu button on the device to open the settings.

Tap the Star icon (
).

Name the shortcut, DTN Exchange.

Tap Add. An icon appears on the home screen.
DTN Exchange mobile tasks
Viewing Prompt Offers from the DTN Exchange Mobile website
On the DTN Exchange mobile website, you can filter by:

Product(s)
-
Terminal(s)
-
Seller(s)
Here’s how you filter your offers:

Tap

Select the product(s), terminal(s), and/or seller(s) you wish to view. When an item is selected, it has a checkmark next to the name.

Select Act. (Active.) or Susp. (Suspended).

Tap Refresh.
NOTE: You must refresh the page for your filters to take effect. The ** symbol appears next to the active filters.
Refreshing your Offers List for DTN Exchange Mobile
Be sure to refresh your offers under the following circumstances:

When you change your filters.
-
To ensure you are receiving the most up-to-date pricing.
The timestamp at the top of the page indicates the last time that it was refreshed.
Placing a Market Order on DTN Exchange Mobile
Here’s how to place a market order:

Tap the product you wish to order.

Review the product information fields, including:
-
Product

Terminal
-
Seller
-
Minimum Quantity (gallons)

Increments (gallons)
-
Current Price ($/gallon)

Terms
NOTE: The timestamp at the top of the page is the last time that price was accurate.

Swipe to the ORDER section.

Tap the Order Volume field and enter the quantity (gallons) you wish to order.

Tap Place Order.
-
Confirm your market order by tapping OK. You can also tap Cancel to stop the order.

Once you tap OK, your market order is placed, and a confirmation page displays, which includes information in the following fields:

Product
-
Terminal
-
Seller
-
Volume
-
Price
-
Trade Match ID
-
Tap Return to Offer List to finish.
Placing a Bid on the DTN Exchange Mobile
Here’s how to place a bid:

Tap the offer you wish to place a bid.
-
Swipe to the BID section at the bottom of the page.

Fill out information in the following fields:

Bid Volume (gallons)
-
Bid Price ($/gallon)
-
Open to all Sellers (checkbox)
-
Expiration Date
-
Expiration Time (central)

Tap Place Bid. The Prompt Offer Bid has been placed.
NOTE: If there is a price from a seller lower than your bid, the system automatically places a market order for the seller’s lowest price. This means your bid does not display under Active.Bids.
For example, you place a bid open to all sellers for 42,000 gallons of Conventional 91 Premium Octane at $3.01/gallon and seller has that product priced at $2.99/gallon at the same terminal, DTN Exchange places a market order instead of a bid for 42,000 gallons of Conv 91 at $2.99/gallon.
Viewing an Active Bid
Here’s how you view your bids that are currently active:

Tap the Active.Bids tab.

Select the bid you wish to view.

Review the information.
Canceling a Bid
Here’s how to cancel a bid in the Viewing an Active Bid section:
